Neapolitan pizza found its way into the hearts of Finns in 2017, when true Napoli fans Lenni Lehmusoksa and Mikko Rantanen and their friends founded the first authentic Neapolitan pizzeria, Via Tribunali, in Helsinki.
As the good news about Neapolitan pizza had gradually taken over the entire country, it was time for the pizza chefs responsible for the pizzeria’s food product to move on to a new challenge – how could one enjoy tasty pizza at home? Spaccanapoli was born, delicious Neapolitan pizzas from the store’s freezer!
The secret to Neapolitan pizza is simple – just the right kind of dough, excellent ingredients, and skilled chefs.
However, these pizzas are baked in Helsinki and quickly frozen to preserve the delicious taste. Heating them in a home oven restores the delicious texture and taste of the pizza, which was previously only available in the best pizzerias.
Spaccanapoli pizzas can be found in well-stocked K- and S-chain stores, as well as at Tokmanni.
